Our thanks

A little piece of Erfurt.
A great deal of dedication.

Eisenbahnclub Erfurt 1965 e.V. brings Thuringian railway history to life, one building, signal and train movement at a time.

Since 23 January 1965

Built together.
Shared with everyone.

The club began in Erfurt’s Tivoli cultural centre. Through relocations and rebuilding, its members developed a shared ambition: believable railway landscapes and operations inspired by real places in Thuringia.

Its H0 railway includes scenes inspired by Göschwitz and Erfurt-Ost. The club’s chronology records the move towards digital operation in 2019–2020, with TrainController used for railway control.

With warm thanks

For opening your doors.
And sharing your world.

My sincere thanks to Eisenbahnclub Erfurt 1965 e.V. for its friendly support and hospitality. The photographs and railway recordings featured here were made at the club. The 2025 collection was captured during visits in November and December; the video playlist also includes earlier material.

Behind every scene are many hours of patient work. It is a pleasure to share a small part of that dedication with railway enthusiasts around the world.
